Caelyn Smith
M.HSc SLP (C) Reg. CASLPO Speech-Language Pathologist
Founder and Clinical Director
Caelyn completed her Bachelors degree in Health Sciences with honours from the University of Western Ontario and went on to obtain her Masters of Health Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. For the past 16 years she has worked at The Hospital for Sick Children as a Speech-Language Pathologist on the Neurosurgery, Trauma, and Paediatric Brain Tumour teams. Additionally, she has completed research on posterior fossa mutism and presented both nationally and internationally. She was previously active with the University of Toronto as a status only lecturer and provided regular education and mentoring to students.
Caelyn is a mom of three young kids who provide endless joy to her life! Having them close in age, she understands how daily worries and busy schedules can overwhelm families. This is why it’s vital to empower parents to use everyday activities to help encourage and develop their child’s communication and play skills.
Caelyn is trained in Cognitive-communication Disorders Levels 1 & 2 as well as Smarter Intervention Structured Literacy program and Orton-Gillingham classroom educator. She also holds certifications in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk and Target Word programs.
Caelyn is registered, in good standing, with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
Natasha Goncharenko
M.HSc SLP (C) Reg. CASLPO Speech-Language Pathologist
Natasha received her Masters of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University and is registered in good standing with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is certified as an Ontario Autism Program (OAP) provider.
Natasha has experience in a variety of settings including her role as part of the outpatient paediatric team at the Penticton Hospital in British Columbia, and at ErinoakKids treatment center in Ontario. She has also been actively involved in research and participated as a poster presenter in the 2021 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association conference in Washington DC.
Natasha is particularly passionate about parent coaching, early intervention, social communication and Autism. She has completed the Hanen More Than Words certification, a parent-coaching program for young children with Autism and social communication differences. Additional training to support early communicators includes Hanen It Takes Two to Talk. Natasha is also a certified Lidcombe provider, a treatment method for young children who stutter.
When not in the clinic, Natasha enjoys traveling and all things outdoors. Running around outside helps her keep up with all the tiny humans in her life!

Tamara Beck
M.Sc SLP Reg. CASLPO Speech-Language Pathologist
Tamara obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Queen’s University followed by a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Arizona State University. She is registered in good standing with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
Tamara has experience assessing and supporting a wide range of speech and language skills within various settings. Prior to Kidsmith, Tamara gained clinical experience working in the Paradise Valley School District in Arizona. She is especially passionate about supporting children with language and literacy-based goals and strives to create a positive environment where every child feels confident and motivated. Tamara prioritizes a client and family-centered approach to ensure therapy aligns with each child’s unique strengths and objectives.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Tamara exploring hiking trails, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Karinna MacLellan
MSLP (C) Reg. CASLPO Speech-Language Pathologist
Karinna completed her Masters of Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Sydney and is registered in good standing with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
Karinna has spent the last 6 years working in Sydney, Australia. She worked most recently at The Shepherd Centre, a service supporting young children with hearing loss to develop listening and spoken language. She is passionate about early intervention, parent coaching and play based, child-led therapy. Karinna is a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS cert AVT) and has completed several trainings to support early communicators, including Hanen It Takes Two To Talk, and DIR Floortime.
When not in the clinic, Karinna enjoys being outdoors, trying new restaurants and cafes, and baking sourdough!
Elizabeth Sauers
M.A., CCC-SLP (C) Reg. CASLPO Speech-Language Pathologist
Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree in Speech Pathology from the State University of New York College at Geneseo. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Elizabeth has over 14 years of direct clinical experience in school settings. She began her career in New York and later pursued her dream of working abroad in Thailand at the International School Bangkok (ISB). While in Thailand, Elizabeth was fortunate to present at two East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) conferences on supporting the language skills of diverse learners in the classroom. Elizabeth and her family moved to Canada in 2022, and she is registered in good standing with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
Elizabeth believes in taking a holistic approach to speech-language assessment and treatment by working closely with children, their families, and other professionals. She is especially passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practices, supporting social-emotional well-being, empowering agency, and creating a joyful, welcoming space. Her goal is to meet children where they are and support their growth and communication skills through meaningful connections.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys reading, visiting neighborhood coffee shops, and exploring Toronto’s amazing parks, museums, and libraries with her family.
Fatima Safi
MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.) COTO Occupational Therapist
Fatima is an occupational therapist (OT) registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (2021) and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specializing in Exceptionality in Human Learning (2017), both from the University of Toronto.
Fatima has personal and professional experience working with infants, children and young adults with various developmental needs and diagnoses. These include prematurity, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental delays, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy (CP).
Fatima is passionate about routine-based interventions and family-centred practice. She uses strength-based and child-led approaches to help children learn and engage in their routines. Fatima is very comfortable working on goals related to feeding, gross motor, fine motor and play skills with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. With older children, Fatima is very comfortable working on goals related to handwriting, feeding, emotional co-regulation, keyboarding and completing activities of daily living (ADLs).
On her free time, Fatima enjoys listening to music, reading, going to the gym, playing video games, cooking and trying new things!
Liora Chovitch (Currently on Maternity Leave)
MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.) COTO Occupational Therapist
Liora is a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist with a passion for working with children. She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University and has extensive experience supporting clients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and psycho-emotional challenges. Liora is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care to help children reach their full potential. She believes in the power of collaboration with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Jennifer Boyne
MSc., BCBA Reg. (Ont.) CPBAO Behaviour Analyst
Jennifer holds two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Education and Training and another in Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. A Registered Behavior Analyst (RBA) with over 15 years of experience, Jennifer specializes in supporting children with autism and their families.
With extensive experience in clinics, homes, daycares, and schools, Jennifer tailors interventions to meet the unique needs of children across settings. She is certified in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based, naturalistic model that supports children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and language development. She also completed parent coaching training at UC Davis and is passionate about empowering parents to integrate strategies into everyday routines. As a mom of two young boys, Jennifer understands the demands of parenting and strives to offer practical, effective strategies for families.
Jennifer is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts of Ontario, the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), and is listed on the OAP provider list. Sessions may be eligible for coverage under extended health benefits.
